A bleed occurs when the printed image extends off the trimmed edge of a business card. Artwork you supply for an image to bleed must extend 3 points, or 1/24", beyond the edges of the card. On borders that bleed, the area remaining on the card must be at least 1/16". Clearly indicate the areas that will bleed when ordering. A bleed covering the left and top edges of a card will have two bleed charges, one horizontal and one vertical. Foil bleeds and bleeds on stationery are not available.
